write to capture my thoughts and emotions." That is Steve's
music in a nutshell. Whether it's soothing a sleepless friend, searching
the face of a crush, or hitting the streets for a Friday night of
party hopping, Steve takes you to those times and feelings. "My
music is influenced by my life and the people in it. So to play
the songs again [is] to feel those emotions again, which is pretty
cool to me."
With the release of his EP, To You, Steve
has established himself as a Javboy artist to watch in the near
future. His heartfelt lyrics and straight ahead guitar style make
him easy to connnect to. Steve made the jump from simply writing
songs to performing and recording because "it's great to have
people relate to how you feel. Even if my songs mean something completely
different to another person I think it's cool to be able to connect
to someone."
In addition to his work as half of the acoustic duo Paravane,
he has established himself as a prolific New England writer and
