What is Javboy Records?

Javboy Records was founded by Ben Blakesley in 2000 as an outlet for the very under-represented far-northeast music scene. While attending the University of New Hampshire, Ben came in contact with many extraordinary musicians and artists that he felt should not be kept a secret. "I just happened to have a few guys who lived on my floor who were extremely talented and I didn't see why the music scene in New Hampshire should be so muted." So Blakesley began gathering artists together and collaborating as often as possible.
Since those early days in Durham, NH, Javboy Records has branched out to become a full service recording studio (Bobby Bender Studios, Philadelphia area) and, together with LavJaveler Productions, an all encompassing digital media production facility. Javboy now has the capabilities to tackle 'All Things Sound.'
