Boys
of County Bucks
Traditional
Irish/Celtic band, the Boys of County Bucks, have been spreading
the gospel of 'songs from the old country' to people around the
tri-state area for years. The Boys' blend a traditional Irish sound
with a modern appeal to create a fun, warm-hearted atmosphere for
the whole family.
The boys released their first album, Go meadai Dia thu,
in March 2005, followed swiftly by a Christmas album in December
2005, both recorded by Ben Blakesley at Bobby Bender Studios.
The five man troupe continues to amaze with their tight harmonies,
raucous sing-alongs, and quiet, moving ballads.
Playing the instruments of days gone by, the listener is transplanted
through the magic of music to an old fashioned pub jam session.
The Boys of County Bucks make sure this form of music is neither
gone, nor forgotten.
